Welcome to The Memory Clinic of Texas, PLLC

Neuropsychology is a specialized branch of neuroscience focusing on brain function. The Memory Clinic of Texas, PLLC concentrates on scientifically assessing a broad array of brain abilities to help identify the nature and extent of possible difficulties with memory. Such abilities include attention, concentration, learning, visuospatial/construction, language, and problem solving.

What to Expect

A memory assessment typically consists of an interview with a neuropsychologist, neuropsychological testing and a feedback session where their results are shared and recommendations are made. In order to provide the highest quality and service, testing at The Memory Clinic of Texas, PLLC is performed by a doctoral level psychologist. Every attempt is made to have the interview, testing, and feedback session all on the same day. This avoids multiple trips to the clinic and reduces the stress of waiting on results. The whole process usually takes a 1/2 day, and a family member or close friend should attend the interview and feedback portions of the assessment. Bring glasses and hearing aids if you need them. Feel free to bring snacks if you would like to as well.

What to Bring

Dress comfortably and bring glasses and hearing aids if you use them. Bring a snack if you would like; assessments typically last 1/2 a day. A family member or close friend should attend the interview and feedback portions of the assessment.

Because of the time intensive nature of our assessments, appointments must be cancelled at least 2 business days in advance.
